Tiger Lilly is the fairy of curiosity. Her inquisitive
nature urges adventure. She is drawn to the unknown,
in search of life's mysteries.
"Tiger Lilly was an experiment of mixing watercolor with digital painting. The flower, fairy,
and background were each painted separately on watercolor boards. I scanned each element and composed them in Photoshop. Next,
I adjusted the hue on the background, changing it from teal to brown. To finish the painting, I created the glow around the
fairy and the highlighting on the flower. While I liked the results of this painting, I was left without an original version
of the painting. Many people have thought I misspelled the name of the flower, tiger lily, but Tiger Lilly is the name of
the fairy."
