in his high tower, contemplating the fate

of the world, and his destiny to rule it.

"Back in 1980 I started writing a book that I planned to illustrate. I wrote bits of different chapters, did some character sketches, and even started some paintings. The project was too time consuming, and eventually got shelved. Twenty years later I decided to finish this painting of the evil sorcerer from my story."
