In the shimmering of twilight, the Palace of Faerie awakens. A warm glow
reveals a magical world where hidden fairies dance to nature's
symphony.
"The idea for this painting came while
on vacation in Florida. I was photographing banyan trees, when I noticed tiny lizards perched on the trunks of the trees.
I tried to get a closer look, and they darted inside the tree. My first thought was how the tree was almost like a giant palace
where these lizards lived. Since I had already been doing fairy paintings for a couple years, my next thought was, what a
great palace a banyan tree would make for fairies!"
